The historic and picturesque fishing village of The Isle of Whithorn lies at Scotland's most southerly tip of the Machars Peninsular between Luce Bay and Wigtown Bay. It is renowned for its magnificent coastal scenery. It is a haven for ornithologists and there are great opportunities for salmon, trout and sea fishing.

Coming from the west from Stranraer or from the east from Dumfries along the A75 to Newton Stewart follow signs to Wigtown, then Whithorn and on to the Isle of Whithorn.
